There are increasing calls from care experienced people to see those experiences enshrined in law as a protected characteristic. Zara hears about some of the challenges and discriminations from two people who are care experienced; writer Alan Dapre and Megan Moffat from Who Cares Scotland.

The events have brought into question the subject of multiculturalism and how to make an equitable society for all. Roger McGough has been called The Patron Saint of Poetry and his talents as a wordsmith have endeared him to many. He joins Zara to discuss his recently published updated version of the Noah鈥檚 Ark Bible story and to expand on the role religion has played in his life and work.

It鈥檚 an existence that few of us could contemplate but Ken Smith has spent the past forty years in an isolated part of the Highlands living alone in a log cabin with no electricity or running water. Now, the so-called Hermit Of Treig has released an autobiography titled The Way Of The Hermit, assisted by writer and traveller Will Millard. Will sits down with Zara to reflect on Ken鈥檚 remarkable existence and to discuss the various isolated communities Will has visited as an explorer and filmmaker.
