'I was a big fan of Gerry's band, The Chessmen.'

Sean was a big fan of Gerry Anderson's band, The Chessmen, but going to see them was not a happy experience.

Don't Forget to Remember by The Bee Gees sparks a memory.

"That song," Sean says, "always reminds me of a dance I went to. We had to get the Lough Swilly bus so it was a fair bit away from Derry, and on the way there were some fellows at the back of the bus, singing that Bee Gees song. We were going to see The Chessmen, Gerry Anderson's band. I was a big fan of theirs, but when we got to the venue it was a marquee, and it wasn't a happy experience. There were very few facilities, in the way of a bathroom, if you know what I mean, for the like of washing your hands!"

With music from Tom Jones, Queen, The Bee Gees, and more.
