Take Me To The River is a Memphis based project who were in the UK recording and filming for their new and third film, a cross-Atlantic affair this time, called Take Me To The River London.
Players included Carla Thomas, Boo Mitchell who is the son of Willie Mitchell of Memphis' Royal Studios, where Al Green recorded so many of his hits plus musicians Leroy and Charles Hodges and Archie Turner from The Hi Rhythm Section, and award-winning filmmaker Martin Shore.
As well as chatting to these legendary artists, Cerys introduces them as they play classics including Let's Stay Together, Take Me To The River, Love And Happiness and B-A-B-Y.
