One of the most exciting electronic producers to emerge in the 2010s, Mura Masa takes over 6 Music with a thirty minute mix of tunes from that time.

Mura Masa, aka Alex Crossan, is a Grammy-nominated producer and songwriter from Guernsey. He began releasing music when he was just 17, uploading tracks to Soundcloud and quickly gained attention from the likes of Radio 1. At the start of 2016 he came 5th in the 主播大秀 Sound Of poll and later that year unveiled a reversion of his track Lovesick with vocals from ASAP Rocky, hugely increasing his profile as a result. He then released his debut self-titled album in 2017, which as well as the track with ASAP Rocky, also featured collaborations with Damon Albarn, Christine And The Queens, Nao and Charli XCX. He's since released two more studio albums and as his list of collaborators has expanded even further, including the likes of Stormzy, Tirzah, Haim, Chic, Ariana Grande, BTS, Lianne La Havas, Shygirl and many more.
