Episode 2

Fiona MacKenzie and Niall Iain MacDonald present live highlights from Belladrum 2023, featuring The Zutons, Peat and Diesel, and Travis.

Indie pop hit makers Travis light up the final day of Belladrum that includes festival favourites Peat and Diesel making their much-anticipated return to the Hothouse Stage. Fiona MacKenzie and Niall Iain MacDonald introduce Saturday highlights from the boutique festival, now a major draw on the summer music circuit.

Currently one of the best live bands on the festival scene, The Zutons make their Belladrum debut, bringing their off-centre rock, psychedelia and yearning melodrama to a Highland audience. Soul pop sensation Olivia Dean crests into Belladrum on a dizzying wave of sold-out tours, a best-selling album, and a second appearance at Glastonbury, to perform warm confessional songs to her enthusiastic fanbase.

Having cemented their legendary status with a run of catchy pop hits in the 80s, The Bluebells are set to unpack their repertoire of singalong choruses to lift the Belladrum audience. The arrival of Peat and Diesel, seemingly from nowhere, to sell out halls and arenas all over the UK, propelled the Hebridean band to instant headline status. The trio bring their rapid-fire lyrics and trad-punk sound to the Hothouse Stage, with their popularity already sealed with generations of music fans.

Headliners Travis close the festival with bittersweet indie pop hits and joyous nostalgia, with the Belladrum audience working the choruses as hard as the band themselves.
