Drummer-composer and multi-instrumentalist Valentina Magaletti picks a playlist of favourite acts from 20 years of the Supersonic Festival.

Among other delights expect music from the likes of Puce Mary, Princess Nokia and Divide and Dissolve.

Valentina is possibly the busiest women in experimental music. As well as her solo work, she is one third of the trios Vanishing Twin, Better Corners and Moin plus 50% of the duos Tomago, Holy Tongue, Avvitagalli and CZN. As a drummer she has worked with the likes of Thurston Moore, Mica Levi, Sampha, and Kamasi Washington,. She also co-runs the all-female label Permanent Draft.
