How to Lock Your SIM on iphone or Android

Go to settings

Ìý

Go to Mobile Data

Ìý

Find SIM PIN

Ìý

Move slider to switch SIM PIN on

Ìý

If there is a default SIM PIN already set, Ìýcontact your network provider to find out what it is ) – mine was 0000

Ìý

Click CHANGE PIN

Ìý

Select a PIN of your own ÌýÌý(usually 4 digits)

Ìý

Click DONE

Ìý

Then switch your phone off , and on again, and you’ll be asked to ‘unlock your SIM’

For Android

Ìý

Go to settings

Ìý

Go to Security

Ìý

Scroll down to SIM LOCK

Ìý

Move the slider to lock the SIM card and if it asks for a default passcode, contact your network advisor – ours was 0000

Ìý

Click Change SIM PIN (it will ask for the old one ie, default)

Ìý

Select a PIN, minimum Ìý4 digits.

Ìý

Re-enter it

Ìý

Press done.

Ìý

Switch your phone off and on againÌýÌý

Ìý

No-one will be able to use your SIM without that passcode.ÌýÌý
