Claudy’s 'Tandem Twins' hope for Paralympic selection

Chloe and Judith Mac Combe are gearing up for next September’s Paralympic Games in Paris and Nigerian Chukwuka ‘Frank’ Nwanonenyi on his Derry home and North West Regional College.

In 2022, Claudy's 'Tandem Twins' Chloe & Judith MacCombe, who are both visually impaired, showcased their sporting abilities at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. Now the twins have switched their focus to Paris 2024 and a place at next September’s Paralympic Games. Nigerian Chukwuka Nwanonenyi who now goes by the name 'Frank' is the first person ever to be awarded the North West Regional College’s Asylum Seeker Scholarship and reveals how he has been inspired to pursue a career in the health sector by sickle cell anaemia, an illness he has lived with all his life. Resident tech guru Emma Robinson lets us in on what the Collins Dictionary word of the year is.
