'I can't stand the smell of cabbage!'

Sean says he can't stand the smell of cabbage. And he doesn't like turnip, or Christmas pudding.

"I got eggnog last night," says the Tamnaherin Cowboy, "with bits of fried bacon and turnip. Play Country Roads for me, will you? If you do it's worth a slice of Christmas pudding."

"I don't like Christmas pudding," Sean says. "I also don't like turnip. I don't like the smell of it being boiled or baked or whatever you do with it! And also cabbage. Oh, sweet heart of all that's holy! I can't stand the smell of it in the house!"

"I'm cooking carrot, parsnip, and turnip in one saucepan," says Iris, "and sprouts in the other. You don't know what's good for you!"

"You鈥檙e right, Iris, I know. It鈥檚 my loss.鈥�
