'Girls make games!' Derry company aims to shake up gaming industry

KIPPIE give girls an idea of what it is like to work in the exciting and growing world of game development in Northern Ireland. KIPPIE co-founder Kathleen Rowlandson joins Colm Arbuckle to talk about a new free course called 鈥楪irls make Games鈥� aimed at attracting more female designers to the computer games industry. Historian Ken McCormack takes Colm on a journey to the Bollies in Prehen. Ukrainian woman Olga Kitik, who now lives in Letterkenny has been shortlisted from more than 100 entries in a new writing competition established by An Post, in association with the Irish Book Awards and Pauline Moore from the 'Talking Derry Girls' podcast stops to chat with Colm about the Derry Girls Emmy win on her way to the Irish Podcast Awards 2023.
