Countryside travels to Haughey’s Bog in Omagh to find out more from Simon Gray from Ulster Wildlife about a unique peatland restoration that aims to bring back flora and fauna to a barren landscape. Lincolnshire farmer, Andrew Ward, becomes a world first in bean production and County Antrim farmer, and British Wool’s Ulster Wool Depot Manager, becomes the first person in Northern Ireland to enter the Worshipful Company of Woolmen – which means she can drive her flock over London Bridge! Presenter, Nicola Weir, will also chat to Fiona Crudden, Irish Language Officer at Fermanagh and Omagh District Council about the importance of Townland names and visits husband and wife duo, Andrew and Laura Napier, at their equestrian centre in Ballynahinch to chat about how Northern Ireland needs to do more to promote competitive horse events.
