Derry City and Strabane District Council rejects claims that its dog kennels are not fit for purpose. The claims were made by a charity which leased the kennels from the council.
The council, which has taken back responsibility for the dog shelter after charity Pet FBI ended their lease prematurely, said it is committed to providing a 'suitable environment' for stray dogs.
