A Derry GP says he has been forced to introduce a new service offering private GP appointments alongside his NHS work due to 'incompetence' at Stormont.

A Derry GP says he has been forced to introduce a new service offering private GP appointments alongside his NHS work due to 'incompetence' at Stormont.
Dr Tom Black, who is also chair of the British Medical Association in Northern Ireland, said the hybrid system is a 'radical plan' to save his practice.
He insists that the 6,800 NHS patients currently registered with the practice will not have to wait longer to be seen as a result of the private workload.
