鈥淢y husband, John, had it,鈥� Janet says. 鈥淗e hasn鈥檛 slept in three weeks. He can鈥檛 get his breath at all. The doctor says there鈥檚 a hundred day cough going round!鈥�

鈥淚f I cough for 100 days there will be nothing left of me!鈥� Sean says. 鈥淚鈥檝e got 99 days to go!鈥�

鈥淚 have the cure,鈥� Doc says. 鈥淵ou get a basin of hot water, you put your feet in it, and vapo-rub in it, put a towel over your head, and breathe it in. It's supposed to clear your throat... normally it doesn't work, but at least your wife doesn't have to look at your bake for a while!鈥�
