When rescue teams are called to an emergency in Eryri, caring for the person in trouble is what drives them. And whether a walker or climber needs help because they鈥檝e made a mistake or they鈥檝e been unlucky, the teams are there to help - no matter what.

A man thought to be under the influence of magic mushrooms is lost on a rainy mountainside. He鈥檚 strayed off the main path, and finding him will be like looking for a needle in a haystack. After speaking with walkers around Cader Idris, the mountain rescue team start to fear the worst when no-one has seen a trace of him. They suspect he has become lost in the dense undergrowth, and after using all of their experience and local knowledge to locate him, he鈥檚 found badly injured. The coastguard helicopter is dispatched, but with the poor weather conditions, there is no guarantee it will be able to help.

Two experienced climbers get trapped on a dangerous ledge while abseiling in Bwtres y Garreg Filltir without any headtorches. As darkness falls, one wrong move could have deadly consequences. A skilled mountain rescue team heads out to lead them to safety, knowing all too well that they鈥檙e in a spot where others have sadly lost their lives.

A family on holiday in Eryri find themselves cragfast, or stuck, on one of the area鈥檚 most notorious peaks - Tryfan. It鈥檚 a race against the clock as the mountain rescue team must find the exhausted group before night falls and the precarious terrain becomes even more dangerous.
