Tech billionaire Elon Musk says his Neuralink company has successfully implanted one of its wireless brain chips in a human for the first time. The company's goal is to connect human brains to computers and allow people paralysed in all four limbs to control devices with their thoughts. Posting on his social media platform X, Elon Musk said the patient was reported to be recovering well from Sunday's operation - and that initial results had detected promising neuron spikes, or nerve impulses.
