The cost of repairing environmental damage caused by an illegal dump on the outskirts of Derry could be could be between 拢17 million and 拢700 million. Experts say the Mobuoy site may contain 1.6 million tonnes of waste, including commercial and domestic waste.
A local MLA and former Environment Minister, Mark H Durkan, reiterates his call for a public inquiry in to the illegal dump. He tells North West Today major work to clean up the site 'should be an Executive priority'.
