Reverend Richard Coles shares stories from his life - from chart-topping to the church.

Ahead of International Women’s Day, Tony is joined by Convenor of Women’s History Scotland at Strathclyde University, Yvonne McFadden, and writer, comedian and history enthusiast Susan Morrison to explore the history of women in the workplace in Scotland – from east coast fisherwomen to the jute mills of Dundee.

A new theatre production – A Giant on the Bridge – has been devised in conjunction with people in the prison system as well as those with experience of it. It’s looks at themes including reintegration after incarceration. Musician Jo Mango and Mike Nellis, Emeritus Professor of Criminal and Community Justice in the University of Strathclyde’s Law School discuss.

In just over a week the 80s heavy metal band Judas Priest will be heading to Glasgow. Among their many fans is Roman Catholic Priest, Father Alex Davie of St John Vianney’s Church in Edinburgh who is a priest by name and also by musical nature.

The panel look at the relevance of International Women’s Day and the role that faith plays in achieving gender equality.

The word ‘woke’ has become politicised, and now the Church of England’s first black female bishop - Right Rev Rose Hudson-Wilkin - has spoken out saying it should not be used as a negative term. They discuss its origins.
