The remarkable rise of Ballymoney United Ladies FC

The remarkable rise of Ballymoney United Ladies FC, an exciting new podcast and trips to Cullybackey and Donegal.

This week – another first - Helen Mark heads to football training!
She wants to try and find out why Ballymoney United Ladies have managed to lose not a single league game while winning the league championship four years running. Chatting to first team captain Lauren (and her mother!), alongside players and coaches – Helen certainly finds a team worth getting behind. But just what is their secret? The pre-training cups of tea, perhaps?
Also this week – Willie finds out about some ambitious plans for Ulster-Scots projects in Donegal, visits a church full of history in Cullybackey and Rab discusses an exciting new podcast called – of all things – ‘Thran!’.
As always, listeners are invited to contact the programme with a good Ulster-Scots yarn or event to talk about. The easiest way to do that is by email - kintra@bbc.co.uk.
