Mark and Lard choose their final Tracks Of My Years

Radio legends Mark and Lard - AKA Mark Radcliffe & Marc Riley - choose their final Tracks Of My Years. Plus final plays of Album and Record Of The Week.

Radio legends Mark and Lard - AKA Mark Radcliffe & Marc Riley - choose the songs that soundtrack their lives all this week on Tracks Of My Years.

Hailing from Bolton and Manchester respectively, Mark Radcliffe (Mark) and Marc Riley (Lard) met on Ö÷²¥´óÐã Radio 5 Live in the early 90s, when Radcliffe was presenting the show ‘Hit North’. Riley started as a researcher before moving up the ranks and eventually joining Radcliffe as co-presenter.

The duo became known for their various catchphrases, characters and comedy sketches when they transferred to Radio 1 in 1993, presenting the late-night weekday show before a stint on the Breakfast Show followed by years in the early-afternoon slot. The duo remained on afternoons till 2004, when they went their separate ways.

After two decades, Mark and Lard are reuniting for a special show live-streamed from The Bowden Rooms in Altrincham before bringing their ‘An Audience With Mark & Lard’ to venues in the UK this Autumn.

There'll also be more audio nuggets from the Ö÷²¥´óÐã Archive in Vernon's Vault; there's final spins of the Record and Album Of The Week; and two more contestants try their luck in the mid-morning music quiz, Ten To The Top.
