If they only knew that the cross was always the plan

If they only knew the nails were always meant for His hands

If they only knew the grave would not be the end

They would never have laid their hands on The Beginning And The End

If they only knew the betrayal was foretold

If they only knew what the prophets said of old

If they only knew Gethsemane was no surprise

Then they would have known that the third day, He would rise

听

If they only knew that the tomb would become the womb

That would birth revival from Jerusalem to me, to you

If they only knew that the ones who faced persecution

Would flee to the ends of the earth and start a revolution

听

If they only knew that all things were working together

If they only knew that eternity was nearer than ever

Then they would have worshipped and oh they would have bowed

If they only knew what you and I know now

听

So by those who know, let the story be told

To those who don鈥檛, let the truth unfold

The Way, The Truth and The Life

For you and I and for all did rise

听

That third day, what a glorious day!

The tomb was rolled by angels away

The Saviour of the world, His mission complete

Sin and death bowing at His feet

听

He died, was buried and rose again

So you and I, eternity may gain

He paid the price with His blood, with His life

That we may have eternal life.
