A Migrant's Tale - From Somalia to Ireland

Over 30 years ago Nadia Adan fled war-torn Somalia. She tells Audrey Carville about arriving homeless and penniless in Dublin and eventually becoming a successful businesswoman.

The airwaves and social media have been full in recent months of debate, discussion, anger, hate, compassion and humanity- all centred on one topic- immigration
Whether it's the UK government's Rwanda Bill or the Republic government's failure to provide accommodation for nearly 2000 men who are seeking asylum, the voices on this issue are growing louder
In this conversation presenter Audrey Carville meets Nadia Adan who arrived in Ireland as a very young child with her mother from Somalia. They fled when war broke out in the early 1990s
Nadia made her life and home in Dublin- she is now a very successful businesswoman and regards herself as 100% Irish. So how does she view the current debates on immigration and asylum?
