Lorin LaFave makes the Radio 4 Appeal on behalf of Breck Foundation.
Lorin LaFave started Breck Foundation in her son's name after he was brutally murdered by an online groomer. The charity visits schools across the UK to teach children, parents and teachers how to recognise the first signs of grooming and be alert to the dangers.

Our unique charity is based on a tragic personal story that resonates with everyone who hears it, whatever their age. That is why our online safety sessions work 颅鈥� they are relatable, honest and rooted in the real world.
Special Projects
Our impactful projects include 鈥楪ame Over鈥�, which dramatises Breck鈥檚 story for the stage, 鈥楤reck Ambassadors鈥�, which empowers peer educators, and 鈥楻ise E2E鈥�, which covers up-to-date online safety topics often missed by the curriculum.
Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND)
Our powerful suite of SEND resources help us effectively share Breck鈥檚 story with SEND pupils. Written and curated by an SEND expert and teacher, the resources include music, a picture book, a play and a graphic novel.
