Gap Finders: Purdy & Figg
The company behind the all-natural, nontoxic, multipurpose counter cleaners. So popular that its one of the top 10 fastest growing private companies in the UK.
Charlotte Figg and Purdy Rubin came up with the idea of making all-natural, nontoxic cleaning products in 2016. At the start they ran workshops on how to make your own eco-cleaning products, using this time to research and test ideas.
In 2020 Purdy & Figg was born, with Purdy鈥檚 two sons, Jack and Charlie, coming on board. In 2022 their 鈥榟ero鈥� product came to market 鈥� the counter cleaner.
They have grown the business into one of the fastest growing private companies in the UK, with a predicted revenue of 拢40m in 2024, and profits of 拢1m in 2023. All this from an idea that started with two old friends chatting about how they wanted to reduce plastic waste and chemical use in cleaning products.
