Is immigration good for the economies of these islands?
The hundreds of thousands of people from other countries who come to these parts every year are given work visas by the Government at Westminster, or are free to travel and work thanks to the EU.
Do they compete with the native population for work, or do they lead to more jobs being created? What is their impact on wages?
Realistically, are more people needed given the falling birth rates in this part of the world?
