Farming Fermanagh’s wildflower fields, celebrating 100 years of Ö÷²¥´óÐã Northern Ireland and cooking the perfect salt-aged porchetta.

Presenter, Nicola Weir, travels Fermanagh to inspect the species rich fields owned by farmer and vet, Brian Keown, in Garrison and finds out how Ulster Wildlife is helping farmers to be rewarded for working with nature. She’ll also be talking to agriculture journalist, Richard Wright, in studio about 100 years of Ö÷²¥´óÐã Northern Ireland – and you’ll be treated to some wonderful farming voices dating back to 1933. And how did a monk end up in Wales looking after cows? Nicola speaks to Grahame Barrett about why he left a Temple to set up a farm. There is also another 100th birthday to celebrate as Nicola speaks to the Jennifer Livingstone and Lisa Black from the Agri- Food and Biosciences Institute about 100 years of seed testing in Northern Ireland. And it’s a tasty end to the programme as Peter Hannan from Moira cooks up a storm with his Golden Fork winning porchetta! Yum!
