He's the millionaire owner of the Salford club in northern England and he has an ambitious proposal to enter a British team in the Australian NRL club competition. His aim is to broaden the popularity of the sport by also including matches in Las Vegas and Dubai. Marwan Koukash is Palestinian and was forced to flee his homeland for Jordan in the late 1960s before eventually moving to England.
