Catch-up: 10 December

Tony's trial descends into chaos. Bradley makes a huge admission to Stacey, and Max's world begins to crumble.

It’s the day of Tony’s trial. Ryan informs Whitney that Debra won’t be coming and she angrily lashes out at him. Meanwhile, Pat arrives at court with a tearful Tiffany. Pat and Ricky urge Bianca to tell Tiffany the truth about her father.

Having been informed, Tiffany embraces Ricky. Ryan seethes as Whitney’s video evidence is shown and he hears the full extent of her abuse.

Unable to bear it, he tries to attack Tony. Whitney’s furious with Ryan, but he rants that Tony’s a sick pervert. Distressed, Whitney bursts into court and pleads that Tony isn’t an animal; they love each other. Whitney claims that all her evidence was a lie: Tony never touched her.

Bradley accompanies Jean to the hospital. Stacey reacts badly; deliberating whether to come home, but Jean manages to persuade her. Alone with Bradley, a tearful Stacey apologises for everything and there’s a close moment between them.

Bradley regrets that he has to leave for Canada. Bradley goes to Syd and covers that he’s been with Rachel. He later returns to Stacey’s where he tells her he can’t leave – he loves her.

Phil continues to press Max for his money. Max desperately tries to scrape cash together to stave off the bailiffs.

Having reached a dead-end in finding a loan, Max is despondent. To his surprise, Rachel arrives and hands him a cheque.

Max rushes out to see Phil about the money. Max returns home to find the bailiffs forcing their way in. Max frantically tries to intervene as the bailiffs begin to remove their belongings as a stunned Tanya arrives.

A guilt-ridden Ian wakes in Janine’s bed and awkwardly hurries out. Meanwhile, Janine plays Archie a recording of her romp with Ian; laying out her plan for blackmail. She accepts Archie’s marriage proposal.
