The lioness is on to something - underground. Digging down nearly a metre she pulls out a tiny meal, barely a mouthful. But satisfying hunger is not on her agenda tonight. These warthog piglets are a perfect size for her cubs to practice killing. She pulls out six little piglets and saves them all for her young to deal with. The sooner the cubs learn to hunt, the sooner they will be able to help their mother.
