Dennis and Candy are young badgers, just over a year old. They spend a lot of time together playing - usually playfighting. It usually starts off not too serious, but quickly turns a bit harsher. Notice that they usually go for the neck or tail area - those are the key attack areas. The older badgers often have scars in those regions. Dennis doesn't know when to back down, and gets taken down a peg or two by Yoyo who is a year older. Zippy give Yoyo a quick nip to keep him from hurting Dennis any further. At times badgers do have to aggressively defend themselves. Dennis will have to hone his fighting skills because at some point he will leave the sett looking for a lady badger and could get himself into all sorts of trouble.
