American dramatist Cori Thomas tells Matthew Bannister about returning with her father to Liberia after twenty years of exile in the United States and how she turned this shared experience into a play.

Outlook's Mohammed Allie has been to visit some of the students at a film animation academy in Khayelitsha, a township in one of Cape Town's poorest areas. Their course has the backing of Aardman Animations, the company that created Wallace and Gromit.

Afghan Cricket Coach
Known as 'the founder of Afghan cricket' Taj Malik tells Matthew about his dramatic journey from a refugee camp to playing in the Twenty20 World Cup. A film called "Out of the Ashes" has been made about his story.
