Ö÷²¥´óÐã

Above the water is a display of rather lovely yellow flowers, but beneath the water these plants become rather more sinister and the secret is in the name – bladderwort. There is so little food in this water that these plants have had to become carnivorous. On the tiny bladders on the roots: here are these little tiny bladders, and on the outside of the bladder is a tiny little trap door. Every now and again the trap door opens and water rushes in bringing with it infinitesimal little creatures. The trap door closes and the plant digests the creatures. Sinister below and yet lovely above.
