Said Adan Ali is the mayor of a small Somali town putting up a big fight against piracy. The residents of Bender Bayla have recently fended off two attempted hijackings of fishing vessels in their waters - Said tells Matthew Bannister how.

Reporter Dorian Jones meets former child prisoners in Turkey. Until earlier this year, the authorities there regularly arrested young people they accused of being involved with terrorism. Many of them were sent to adult prisons - and are still traumatised by the experience.
