Nuclear power more expensive after Japan
Veteran environmental campaigner Jonathon Porritt has said events in Japan will make nuclear power here even more expensive and less viable. Extra safety procedures would add to the cost of power stations and mean nuclear power would not be able to deliver the energy needs of the country.
