Comedian Alan Carr has always been intrigued by genealogy and wondered about his family's history. At the age of 35 he feels like he knows where he is in life, but wants to discover where he has come from and what makes him who he is. He jokes that people probably expect to see lots of ancestors who look like him, with his teeth and glasses.
