6 Music at the Southbank Centre - Event Highlights

Cerys Matthews, Jarvis Cocker, Steve Lamacq and more 6 Music stars introduce live performances from a bunch of our musical pals recorded at London's Southbank Centre on Friday 16 March 2012.

In the Queen Elizabeth Hall, the innovative and influential Public Image Ltd. perform their first live show of the year. Super Furry Animals frontman Gruff Rhys showcases his own peculiar brand of skewed pop, and Anna Calvi is right at home with her magnificent operatic sound.

Beth Jeans Houghton & The Hooves of Destiny also bring their off-kilter grandeur to proceedings, while Blur guitarist Graham Coxon completes the line-up, showcasing tracks from his new album.

Next door, twice Mercury-nominated Laura Marling brings her beautiful, brittle songcraft to the Purcell Room, which also plays host to newcomer Lianne La Havas, who was recently given the nod in the 主播大秀's Sound of 2012 list.
