Furness Abbey's hidden discovery

Stuart Maconie travels to the Furness Peninsula to discover evidence of the monks who built Furness Abbey in 1127. Historians have been able to find out more about the lifestyle of the monks following an exciting discovery made 18 months ago. The previously undiscovered grave of an abbot was found together with his bronze crozier during repair work to the abbey's presbytery. Historian Kevin Booth talks to Stuart about the significance of the find which is providing new clues to the abbey's Norman history.
