Last summer鈥檚 riots saw thousands of businesses ransacked by looters. The bill for the damage ran into hundreds of millions of pounds. But what motivated the rioters? Here, some of those who took part explain in their own words how they ended up looting shops. The rioters were interviewed as part of the Reading the Riots project. Their interviews have been reconstructed using actors.
