Did You Know?
After serving as a major in the Army during World War II, Boyle joined the 主播大秀 in 1947 as a scriptwriter. He pioneered fast-paced investigative journalism when he was editor of the radio programme The World at One and went on to become editor of the flagship current-affairs radio series PM and The World This Weekend.
