Sessions

This month, we returned to Ross-on-Wye to showcase some of our favourite acts right now, recording for broadcast at John Kyrle High School.

The music department has undergone a series of changes in the last four years - and it's now home to a complex of high-end recording studios and state-of-the-art equipment.

NowWhat! are a collaboration between a number of instrumental people in the local music scene.

Lofty has spent 20 years in the music scene, fronts up , plus teaching rapping and DJ workshops to underprivileged children.

Andy Passman run in Hereford, giving early gigs to the likes of Judge Jules, Sonique, Paul Oakenfold, Carl Cox, Paul Van Dyk and Sister Bliss.

Beth Downes comes from the same family as - one of the most hotly tipped groups in recent years, and featured in a hip-hop group with Lofty.
听
Neil used to DJ at the and six years ago taught himself how to write house music.
听

Albi Samuals, of , is hoping to put out 1000 free CDs this summer as a means to promote gig nights in Worcester.

If you're a budding solo artist, an MC, or just started a brand new band then you should check out 主播大秀 Introducing Musicians' Masterclasses.

On Thursday 21 March, we visited various locations across the UK - Glasgow, Belfast, London, Salford & Cardiff. DJs from all over 主播大秀 Radio, music industry experts and artists got together to host a day of sessions, workshops and masterclasses.

On the guestlist at Maida Vale were Worcester's , Malvern's , Bromyard's , Droitwich's and Bewdley's .

Invited to Hoddinott Hall in Cardiff were Hereford's , Kidderminster's and man-of-many-Worcester-bands .

We covered everything from song writing & MC workshops to promoting your music & making the most of your Twitter accounts.

We also heard from successful artists about their own musical journeys. Our special guests included Ben Howard, Aluna George, Wretch 32, Devlin, Angel, Japanese Popstars, Phil Kieran, Badly Drawn Boy and the Manic Street Preachers.

This week, we hear from - who, together with a panel of experts, answers a series of questions - including a question from Worcester's Pete Adams.
