How Women Can Succeed

Sheryl Sandberg, Facebook's networker-in-chief, on what women can do to succeed in work and life. And equality in the home - how one couple divides domestic duties.

Why do so few women get to the top in business - or indeed in any profession? That's the crucial question we explore today. We've got an interview with one of the most powerful women in world business, Sheryl Sandberg, the networker-in-chief at Facebook.

We'll be discovering how she rose so rapidly to the top - Sheryl has already held senior positions in government, at Google and at the management consultants McKinsey.

She tells us that the real problem lies with women themselves who "lean back" rather than pushing themselves forward. They sit out of key meetings and are less likely to ask for pay rises or promotion than men.

But - she says - equality at work needs to be matched by equality at home. So we've invited in our own power couple and persuaded them to broach the sensitive subject of who does what when it comes to the domestic duties - who do you think does the lion's share?
