Matt Lewis is a 23-year-old singer/songwriter from Hay-on-Wye who, when not making music, works in a garden centre as a sales assistant.

He's been playing music since he was seven-years-ago but after attending a popular music course at the University of Glamorgan a couple of years ago, began writing his own melodies with a comical look at life.

主播大秀 Introducing in Kington

主播大秀 Introducing in Kington
It's one of the least populated towns in Herefordshire (according to the 2001 census it had a population of 2,597) yet has produced gems like and - who wrote his album Hergest Ridge on, errrr, Hergest Ridge.

For the last two years we've been taking the 主播大秀 Introducing Recording Roadshow out-and-about - and this was the last town in Herefordshire we've not yet visited.

When we rolled up at the Oxford Arms we were promised the biggest storm of the decade - which has been a general theme of our recording sessions this year - but luckily it came to nothing!

主播大秀 Introducing recording session

主播大秀 Introducing recording session
主播大秀 Introducing in Hereford & Worcester supports unsigned, undiscovered and under-the-radar musicians from Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

Since 2011, we've been taking the show out on-the-road showcasing the very best musicians from our two counties.

Our next recording session takes place on Sunday 24 November at and features the five acts we plan to broadcast throughout December.

It's free to get in - and this is your chance to see how we capture live music on tape, while being able to enjoy some of the hottest new acts we've got in our area right now.

None of these acts knew they were being considered for a live session - they were chosen based on the tracks they uploaded - which led them to receiving airplay on 主播大秀 Hereford & Worcester.

Doors open at 6pm - but you're more than welcome to turn up anytime until 10pm.听

Answer Back

Answer Back

A Malvern band has clocked up more than for their new anti-bullying single.

The video to Never Alone by Answer Back was originally meant to be handed in as a university dissertation - but instead has ended up with the group representing many schools and colleges in their anti-bullying campaign.

UB40

UB40

One of the founding members of UB40 has quit the band after 33 years.

Astro, who's from Worcestershire, says he left because he didn't like the direction the band was going in - changing their style from reggae to country music.

Speaking exclusively to 主播大秀 Hereford and Worcester, just 15 minutes after the band was told of his decision, Astro says it was time for him to move on.

, Cher Lloyd gets married to a hairdresser and Ellie Goulding's just announced a tour with Rudimental -听so Bewdley's Becky Hill could be on tour with the Kington songstress in America.
