A couple from Northamptonshire have come up with an unusual way of dealing with a burglary, by writing to the thieves and apologising for not having much worth stealing. Kate Barrett stuck the note up on the back door of their home after the break-in last weekend and wrote that she and her partner Daniel Owens were disappointed that their VHS collection had been left behind. Daniel Owens spoke to 5 live Breakfast and read out the letter.
