Savile victims call for single inquiry

Victims of abuse by Jimmy Savile are demanding a single inquiry into how the DJ managed to evade justice for so long.

Around 50 people who have reported being abused say the current, multiple, investigations will not answer the key questions about how Savile operated.

In this 90-second summary of the story, one victim, who wishes to remain anonymous, describes why he thinks a central investigation is necessary.

In response Peter Riddell, director of the independent charity The Institute for Government, explains the challenge a single inquiry could present to victims waiting for answers.

Solicitor Alan Collins, who represents 60 people seeking compensation, asks the question that he hopes a single inquiry could answer.
