Parents who earn a combined income of more than 拢80,000 should have to pay if their children go to the most popular state schools, a report suggests. Private headmaster Dr Anthony Seldon raises the idea for cross-party think tank the Social Market Foundation. Mark hears from Dr Seldon and asks what you think of his ideas. He also speaks to The Tax Payers' Alliance and Brian Lightman, general secretary of the Association of School and College Leaders.

Claire Ashford speaks to octogenarian Percy Woodhouse, from Shropshire, who was called up for National Service in 1948. He speaks to Glen Conroy, whose six-year-old son joined him on an Armed Forces Day march in Leicestershire in full (mini) uniform and Conservative MP, Philip Hollobone, who wants to bring back National Service.

It's been a cracking day at Imjin Barracks in Gloucestershire today, as nearly 180 soldiers went the 'egg-stra' mile in a Guinness World Record attempt. They were aiming to smash the record for the 'most soldiers dipping toast soldiers in their eggs at the same time' - all in aid of a local charity.
