Serbia Formally Starts the Process of Joining the EU

Serbia's Prime Minister Ivica Dacic kicks off official negotiations in Brussels to join the EU. Also, we look to Thailand where a state of emergency is declared in Bangkok.

Serbia's Prime Minister was in Brussels today to kick off official negotiations. Also, we look to Thailand where the government has declared a state of emergency in Bangkok. And, Jamaica will be sending a bobsleigh team to the Sochi Olympics - the Caribbean nation has not competed in the sport since 2012. Getting to Sochi will be expensive and they are getting the money through crowdfunding.
