Spain and Denmark

A 'secret' press conference gives Tom Burridge an insight into the beleagered Spanish Royal Family; in Denmark, Jake Wallis Simons meets a robot hoover.

After a series of high profile scandals, the Spanish Royal Family is at something of a low point in terms of public opinion. When Tom Burridge got a call to attend a 'secret' press conference, he gained an insight into the Zarzuela's attempts to rebuild confidence in the monarchy.
In Denmark, a country with traditionally high public spending, recent cuts have prompted panic in some circles. Jake Wallis Simons meets the money-saving robot hoovers in a Copenhagen old age home, and discovers they're not necessarily a threat.
