Held at Gunpoint in Ukraine, and the Secrets of Brooklyn鈥檚 Jewish Community
A 主播大秀 correspondent is held at gunpoint by militants in eastern Ukraine 鈥� plus a dispatch on sex abuse cases covered up by ultra-orthodox Jews in New York.
In eastern Ukraine, suspicion is everywhere, and journalists aren鈥檛 exempt. Natalia Antelava saw this first hand in Sloviansk, where pro-Russian militants have taken control and where the Ukranian government is attempting to fight back. A chat with a local resident started with cups of tea, but ended with our correspondent having the barrel of a gun pressed against her head.
Also in this edition, Matt Wells reports on the ultra-orthodox Jewish community of Brooklyn. For decades they have separated themselves from their neighbours in America鈥檚 most bustling city. Now after revelations of sex abuse cover-ups, insiders and outsiders are asking difficult questions.
