In Veracruz state in southeastern Mexico, Will Grant senses a miasma of intimidation and paranoia hanging over the journalists who are trying to report on cartels and crime. This is a place where dead bodies - or even mass graves - can turn up in even the most tranquil settings - and where it is immensely hard to know whom to trust.

Twenty years on from the bombing of Buenos Aires' AMIA centre, a haven for members of the largest Jewish community in Latin America, Natalio Cosoy revisits his own memories of helping to clear the wreckage. In 1994 this was the worst attack of its kind that Argentina had ever been through, yet those who ordered it have not been convicted and the case remains highly politicised.
