Ledbury's Cevan Price made his first simple melody on a keyboard when he was a child.

He learned to play a recorder and a couple of years later, a guitar.
听
During his teens, he became obsessed by the grunge scene - joining two bands at school.
听
He eventually started listening to acts such as Josh Wink, The Prodigy and the Chemical Brothers after hearing them at a festival.
听
An 'off-the-wall' music teacher then taught him how to create music using midi, synthesisers and drum machines.
听
In 2002, he started working in a guitar shop and met so many musicians he would never have to rely on a factory-made sample pack ever again!
听
When not producing tracks under the pseudonym of Sublixx, Cevan helps those with psychological and physical illnesses.

A Worcester photographer is offering an opportunity to local musicians to have their portraits taken for free.

He's looking for people from all walks of life to capture in print - which is a relatively new venture for Joe - and is looking to spend some time honing his craft with willing participants.

Anyone in the two counties who's got an old or unwanted musical instrument is being asked to gift them to Oxfam - as part of the country's biggest-ever 'instrument amnesty'.
听
The unwanted instruments will be given a new lease of life and passed on the next generation of musicians.
听
The project is being turned into a Channel 4 series - Don't Stop the Music - which follows the internationally-renowned classical pianist James Rhodes.
听
To take part, you can drop off the instruments听at Oxfam Worcester Book and Music, near the Elgar Statue in the High Street.听
听
